Ornament or Candy Jar
Here is a free pattern to make either a candy jar or an ornament. The pattern includes both 6″ and 12″ finished block sizes. The ornament is created by quilting on the diagonal and adding an embroidered hook. You can see how to quilt on the diagonal using my tutorial here.
The candy jar uses applique. You can either do raw edge applique or follow the instructions for turned under edges. You could also applique ANYTHING into the jar! How fun!
