Starting to Bloom Quilt Along & What’s Going On

Since my last quilt along post, a lot has happened. I apologize for the delay for those who may be following this quilt along right now. Since my last post, I permanently lost my Center Director position at my adult daycare center due to covid19 and in doing so I lost access to a computer with Microsoft office on it. I use PowerPoint to design my flowers and for consistency I wanted to make sure all my quilt along post were similar.

I have several more weeks ready to go and my hope is in the coming weeks to be able to delete this part of the post and start posting my quilt along again. I am grateful for your patience. Thank you.

In addition…

I am hoping to have more posts soon that are not related to the quilt along. I have been sewing and crocheting a little slower than before but I have a new project I am working on for my girls Christmas gift I am excited to share. These are slowly going to come out since the new school year started.

My oldest in now in first grade and her school district is doing the “hybrid” program. She attends school on Thursday and Friday and essentially does homeschool with me on Monday through Wednesday. We have also started her Religious Education and she is going to start bowling lessons– so we have had a lot of new routines to get used to recently.

Stay tuned and I promise there will be neat things instore, including more free tutorials and patterns, additional quilting/sewing lessons and some yummy recipes too.
