Starting to Bloom Quilt Along Week 10

Week 10 here we are. Like I said last week, this weeks flower blocks were VERY simplified. I will let the photos speak for themselves. This week is also a good week to do the smaller 3″ flowers if you are doing some of those. I also did the same pattern for both flowers. These were fun and quick to do and I might make more if I need fillers later on.

TIP: Instead of cutting 4 squares for the center, cut just one. If you are doing the smaller flower you need to cut one 2.5″ square and if you are doing a larger flower you would cut one 4.5″ square. Less seams Hooray! You can even cut your right, left and top once and have no seam in the middle. To do that subtract 1/2″ from each measurement then add the length of the pieces together, then add 1/2″ for seam allowance.

Happy Quilting!
