I’m so joyful you are visiting today. For today’s tutorial, I am going to show you how to use Deco Foil Liquid Adhesive to add shimmer and shine to all your fabric projects.

So, something AMAZING has happened….

My youngest is going to be starting school full time this August and it was time for me to go back to work. I wasnt sure what I wanted to do other than I REALLY wanted to do something creative. From the time I was in kindergarten I have always wanted to be an artist.

Well, being an artist can mean many things! But my journey includes going to school for ceramics and textiles which has led me on a journey to where I am today with this lovely blog and my quilt block shop.

But I didn’t want it to end there. I didn’t want to go back into the working world and put behind all that I accomplished over the last 4 years since not working outside the home. I wanted to continue creating and teaching!

As luck would have it, I was told about a teaching position at my former elementary school. It is a private school so I knew with just my bachelor’s degree I could potentially get hired and then transition to teaching from there. Well, that fell through (it was my first interview in a VERY long time, and it was not good and not prepared), and I was not hired but it was this interview that led me to look at other private schools in my area.

I saw another opening and after prayers and some thought, I applied. I used my mistakes on my first interview to help with this one and I am so blessed to say that this school chose me to be their PK-8th Art and Middle School STREAM teacher!

I am so excited for this new chapter in my life. I will continue this blog teaching you more sewing and crafting projects. There might also be more children projects thrown in for any of the little ones in your life.
