Seasonal Mug Quilt Block Patterns

Today I am releasing my A Mug for Every Season quilt block patterns that are pieced traditionally. Several months back I released my very first foundation paper piecing pattern that uses the same decorative blocks pictured here, but are incorporated into a FPP block. What’s fun about my traditional pieced mug block patterns is they come in 2 sizes! The pattern includes 6″ and 12″ finished blocks. In addition, there are 2 BONUS decorative centers for the 12″ block! BUT WAIT!………I am also including one of my best selling blocks. A Mug for Every Season will also include my basic mug block! Here are the 12″ Bonus Blocks! A cat turned into a Halloween mug and an Egg. Any of these blocks would also work great on their own even without the Mug.
My basic mug block will be part of the pattern bundle! My basic mug also comes with a 6″ and 12″ finished block size. Pictured above is the 12″ size.

I have a personal connection with mugs. Before I had children, I never drank coffee(I do now…everyday lol). I was however, a ceramics major in college and my favorite thing to make were mugs. I loved trying to perfect the way it felt in your hands and how it touch your lips. Quilting mugs means so much to me now that throwing pottery is not as accessible to me.
