Quilt Block Manina: Jungle

Welcome, Quilt Block Mania fans, to my site Inflorescence Designs. I am so joyful you are here! This is my seventh month doing Quilt Block Mania and I am really excited to bring you fun and free blocks each month. Each month will feature a quilt block you can get for FREE! The blocks might be traditional pieced, paper pieced or applique (I love doing all of these techniques). But download them quickly because some blocks will not remain free forever and will be available for purchase in my Etsy Shop.

This month’s theme is Jungle and I chose to design a snake. This pattern is paper pieced and there are no formal instructions, so this pattern is for someone knowledgeable or willing to learn. The block comes in a 12″ finished size. This block will remain free through August 31, 2022, after that date you can find the pattern in my shop.

Interested in MORE FREE quilt blocks designed by Inflorescence? Check out Thermoweb’s Facebook Group Therm O Web Craft Room. Each month a new BOM will debut. In addition, a free project tutorial is also included that uses the BOM. August is “Back to School” with a mug and pencil block and a Quilt Block Binder Cover Tutorial. Check it out!

  1. this is wonderful. thanks. I have a nephew and his fiancé who have reptiles. They do parties for anyone interested. Cold Blooded Parties. They just got their own brick and mortar building. I am so excited for them. Their little business is starting to take off like gang busters.

  2. Thanks, I think, for the snake. Not a big fan of snakes. They do live in a jungle though. I like the way yours isc wrapped around the tree.
