This quilt is getting cuter and cuter by the day. I did a lot of searching and I found the PERFECT backing fabric for what these blocks are going to be used for.
It will take a few weeks to arrive, but that is perfect since I still have 4 more blocks to design and stitch together. If you know me, you know my obsession with donuts. I love all things baking and sweets and this fabric was a joy to find and my daughter is going to LOVE it!
This quilt will be done using the quilt as you go method and I plan to have a tutorial on that when I start quilting this project (stay tuned!). I only have a standard sewing machine and I want to make sure each block is given great attention and without hurting my shoulders and back in the process. The blocks each will measure 24″ so the blocks alone will make a 72″x72″. Check back again to see my progress!
