The Challenge: It’s the month of “Love”. Show us what it is, you love. Moose are optional of course. LOL!!
Show us what it is you love:
I love my family most of all, but I also love gardening, canning and preserving what I grow, baking, Girl Scouts and PIZZA!
I also love sewing! So, for this month’s hop, I chose to make a fun little table topper I call “Love Letters.” It is a pattern of my own design. I do not have any formal instructions for it just yet. It is still currently chicken scratch in my handy notebook, but I might work on it this year.
This quilt block design strays from my typical square frame. Each of these block’s measures 8″ x 10″. I did this to help offset each envelope or heart. I also did this because my original idea was to add some hand embroidery in the “empty” background spaces. I chose not to add embroidery and simply did a fun heart FMQ instead.
