Hello and welcome to Inflorescence Designs! I am so joyful you are visiting today. Today on the blog I am featuring another Island Batik challenge: The Dresden Plate Blog Hop!
For this hop I got to work with the fabric bundle called Midnight Garden by Jerry Khiev. I was really excited for this hop. I have had this pattern designed since this time last year when I found out what the different challenges were going to be.
I hope to develop a pattern for this. It is pretty simple even though it might look challenging. This pattern will have to wait until this summer though when I will have some more time to dedicate to it.
For the background I used one of Island Batiks many solid colors it is the light grey and black. I currently on have the top done. My goal is to quilt it over Thanksgiving break.
Be sure to check out all the other amazing designers and their Dresden Plate Quilts.

Sooo pretty Julia! I love the design and it does look very complicated. The fabrics are gorgeous too. Thank you for sharing today.
Very pretty, Julia!
Beautiful work!!
Great modern take on the Dresden Plate! I love it!
That is really striking! It sounds as if you were working on it, in some form, for a very long time and it absolutely paid off.
Your quilt is beautiful!
