Raise your hand if you love sweets! Well this girl does too. Every night, after I put my youngest to bed, I crave something sweet to munch on. However, eating sugary delights is not healthy and can make you put on weight.
Back in June 2017 I was at my heaviest. I decided that I needed to do something about it so I joined what was then called Weight Watchers. It helped me lose 30 pounds in the span of 4.5 months. I ended up having to stop the program due to becoming pregnant with my youngest. However, I did so well that six months after having my daughter I rejoined and lost all of the weight again.
After 6 months in the program for the second time I eased away from it—although I still use the app program occasionally . However, the program has helped me make better choices—including these delicious homemade ice cream sandwich bars!
If you found my recipe because you are currently following the new WW, these ice cream sandwich bars are only 3 points! (These points were calculated using the ww app in July 2020)
