Happy Labor Day!
This is part one of a series of projects that are originally made with paper. For today’s tutorial I am making what I call Fabric Bubbles! These creations are sometimes called paper sculptures, paper balls or globes. I learned how to create this project out of paper from Madelyn Wagner from her Instagram account @madelynsxart. So many of her ideas are amazing and I have implemented them into my own classroom. Check out her YouTube channel as well!
What can you used these fabric bubbles for? I think these would look great used in a garland. I also think that you could make colors to match the seasons and holidays and fill a glass vase with them–switching them out each season. They might also look great as part of a fabric mobile, or simple for the pleasure of making them.
Supplies:
- Template
- Fabric Scraps
- HeatnBond Craft Extra Firm
- SpraynBond Fabric Stiffener Spray
- PeelnStick Fabric Fuse
