Does anyone else have piles of orphan quilt blocks lying around?
When I design quilt blocks, a lot of times I make several or I don’t actually sew them into a project. This is especially true for my foundation paper piecing blocks.
Several of my current orphan blocks are from when I began re-teaching myself to quilt and I got over excited and put them aside to design my own patterns.
Well, my goal before the end of 2021 is to give all my orphan blocks a quilt to call home.
I am calling this project #aplacetocallhomequiltchallenge.

I have plans for mug rugs, table runners, wall hangings, and possibly a full scrappy quilt.
