I cannot believe it is already almost the end of August!
The kids went back to school last week!
My oldest is in 2nd grade and my youngest started preschool activities with me the this week. (Wish me luck!)
Here is my 2021 temperature quilt progress.
Seven months down and five to go!
I’m still unsure how I am going to set my blocks. I have already made the process easier by squaring off my Dresden plates. You can see how I do that here.
This is my very first temperature quilt and I am enjoying the process. I chose fabrics in my stash so it seems a bit busy to my eye but we all learn as we go along.
I would love setting suggestions! Comment below if you have ideas!
Are you making a temperature quilt?

I love the look of your temperature quilt. It’s fun to see how everyone creates their quilts and then seeing the different quilts from the Northern Hemisphere vs the southern hemisphere. Hope your kids are enjoying being back at school.
Yours is very fun! I started one this year after several years of debate, but I couldn’t keep at it. I also found that I really got confused if I went a week without at least pulling and pinning my pre-cut shapes. I finished through April. Oh well, it will be a nice -back-of-the-quilt for something in the future!
Thank you Sue. I have also been having trouble keeping at it since July. In the beginning, I would do every 8 days (as that is a quarter of the Dresden) but July I did all at one time. That is how I’m also going to do august it seems! You partial temperature quilt will no doubt look awesome on the back of some other amazing quilt!
